ELEAGUE has announced that Echo Fox has withdrawn from the Americas Minor and that they will be replaced by Muffin Lightning. Following Echo Fox's statement regarding their roster, which revealed that the organization has allowed it's players to look for new opportunities, the team has also officially withdrawn from the upcoming ELEAGUE Americas Minor.
To replace Echo Fox the North American team Muffin Lightning—featuring players such as Samuel "SileNt" Portillo and Joshua "sancz" Ballenger—has been invited, as they were "the next highest ranking team in the closed online qualifier stage", per ELEAGUE's announcement. With this news, the following four teams will be competing for the two ELEAGUE Major Qualifier spots:
