Natus Vincere have progressed to the semi finals in convincing fashion after a relaxed 2-0 victory of fnatic. Na´Vi had looked rusty on the second day of the competition, losing twice to French teams, while fnatic had scored a perfect five wins, but the Ukrainian side's 50 per cent record was meaningless as they stomped over their opponents. On de_train, Na´Vi started off on the defensive side, and they set a wall between them and fnatic as some strong play on this side earned them an 11-4 lead at the break. In the second half, fnatic still tried to respond, but all they got was eight rounds as Na'Vi picked up a 16-12 score. The map that followed, de_dust2, was a one-way street, as Na´Vi completely dominated procedures, as an almost perfect first half saw them grab a 14-1 lead. With fnatic now heartbroken, Na´Vi comfortable grabbed the next two rounds and won the map 16-1. ESWC 2010Best of 0 Na´Vi will now move on to the semi finals, where they will meet mTw, while fnatic have been sent home with just $1,600 in earnings. |
